Is There Such a Thing as Too Much Art?

Kirsten Hel is a multimedia artist with a focus on the surreal, mythical, and the fantastical rather than the medium itself, and creating art that’s both unusual and eco conscious. She spent most of her late teens and 20’s travelling, and living in different cities and countries around the world; taking work as anything from an Au Pair to a music journalist to gain experience and inspiration for her work. After finally settling in the Highlands of Scotland, she fell in love with the ancient landscapes, the legends of old, and the people, and realised that this was what she had been looking for. Having been living here and working as an artist full time for a few years, Kirsten Hel has finally been able to set up a proper studio and is looking forward to expanding her portfolio and exhibiting her work
